This picture belongs to a series of portraits of travellers in buses or waiting for buses in Liege in Belgium (2005). See my original picture in colours in workshop.
I have always been particularly concerned by mobility in the city, and so in 1994 I decided to give up my car. Selling my car was a well-thought decision that meant a lot to me.
Now that I belonged to the limited group of people who don't own a car, I had to find different ways of getting to other people and other places. I switched from walking to cycling, I took the train or the bus.
Travelling by bus changed my life and helped me meet my fellow citizens on a daily basis.
