Tillegem bridge, a photo from West-Vlaanderen, Flanders

Photographer's Note

This is my second photograph from the serial of the castle of Tillegem. I see this small bridge with the reflection in water, this bridge has been composed with blue nature stone. These stone is generally of Doornik Belgium

This picture I have cropped an the left side to a better composition.

The Tillegembos (114 ha) border to the Bruges agglomeration and are the oldest province field of west-Vlaanderen. In 1963, the first 44 ha was bought and afterwards this field was regularly extended.

John, the bridge and its reflection are so fantastic I almost wish you had concentrated only on that. The castle and the trees to the right (which are also very nice) almost seem disturbing. I suppose one could try a workshop.

Mooi die weerspiegeling in het water, de afhangende takjes in linkerbovenhoek en de struik rechts op voorgrond geven iets extra's aan de foto.

This is very good, John - crisp, clear and rich in detail. The reflection was very cleverly integrated into your composition, and particularly the oval shapes created by the bridge reflection are really nice. Good colors. I wish the roof at the top right were fully visible, but it is fine work as it is.

La réflexion est extra ici avec une netteté irréprochable.
Beaucoup de détails architecturaux intéressants sur la photo.
Seul petit regret le bout de la tour coupée mais cela n'est pas très voyant.

wel John,
Ik schrijf je vanaf mijn oude computer, want mijn harddisk heeft het begeven. Er zaten nog een aantal bewerkte foto's op, nu weet je waarschijnlijk meteen waarom het even zal duren voor ik weer wat post. Ik doe mijn best en ik heb al een nieeuwe harddisk van 200 gb gekocht. even over de foto. Ik heb 2 kritiekjes slecht, maar ik vind ze best wel belangrijk, betreffende de afwerking van de foto. Als je dat hoekje rechts onderin er niet op had gezet, had je misschien net de toren spits kunnen neemen. Ik kan de situatie daar verder niet, maar het zijn slechts details, verder uitstekend werk

Mooie reflecties hier. En vergis ik mij of beginnen de herfstkleuren al een rol te spelen? Leuk die takjes boven in beeld.

This one is really beautiful, John !
Superb sharpness, clearness and colours.
Composition is fantastic with the bridge and "gate-reflections".
Maybe a step backwards indeed, to get the whole tower and some more green, but with this picture is that a very tiny point...
It's a great shot !

Reflection is zeer mooi John and de kasteel is goed geframed maar dat is jammer voor de top van de toren die gegrop zijn... Toch, zeer mooi beeld!

Beautiful composition, John! This has a picture perfect look. Especially the contrast and colors and reflection. The reflection especially with its polished glass surface. The only thing that might bother me a bit is cutting off the top of the roof. But everything else in this is so beautiful it is easy to overlook. Very good work.

Wonderful view John! The reflection is just perfect creating a nice symmetrical effect. I like the idea to focus on the bridge, the view is more interesting from this point.

Deze ziet er prachtig uit John. Kasteel dan, maar ook hele compositie is prachtig. Hoe komt elke keer reflektie zo goed en mooi staan in zulk situatie. Een zeer fijne foto John. Ik vind hem echt prachtig.

Ik ben eens terug gegaan in de tijd John .Ik vindt de camerahoek van deze foto zeer goed geslaagd en de bijna perfecte weerspiegeling is prachtig en uiteraard zeer scherp .Prachtige diepte eveneens met de takken op de voorgrond .Zo te zien heeft hij heel wat bijval gehad ! Zeer mooi
