The Drina bridge, a photo from Srpska, East

Photographer's Note

This is the famous bridge on the Drina, it was inspiration for Ivo Andric to write book called "The Drina bridge", he got Nobel's prize for it in 1961. I was surprised when I saw this bridge, it more than 500 years old!! Isn't it amazing?!

Beautiful POV. I like the color of the water and the reflexion on it. We can see very well all the bridge. Sharp with a good DOF. Well done Marta.

Good image with a good subject. It is a beautiful bridge indeed. Increasing the contrast and saturation with some an image editing software would do a lot for this image.

Wooww, In the end I have found a recent photo of the Drina Bridge. I have searched the web two years ago after I read Andric's book to see the bridge but unfortunately I couldn't find any. But here it is. Thank you very much for sharing this. It is really very important for me to see this bridge. Do you have other photos of the birdges also that you can send me to my e-mail. I've been really impressed by Andric's book, I can advice anyone to read it to understand not only the Balkans but the story of mankind in general. So this picture is really moving to me. This bridge overcame so many things along the centuries
