Excellent carefully composed shot of this famous bridge. I guess a note is superfluous in thsi case, but maybe a link to a note about Ivo Andric would be useful.

Hi Vlado... Beautifully framed and wonderful color... Coincidentally, I recently read Ivo Andric's book about this bridge and I'm glad that you gave me a chance to see the real thing... It would be nice if you had a photo of the bridge from a wider perspective that shows it in full... Regards...

Zdravo Vlado,
Secam se Andrica i njegove cuprije na Drini. Uvek sam bio pod velikim utiskom te knjige. Video sam mnogo slika ovog poznatog mosta. Ova je ipak originalna u smislu geometrije i odsjaja u vodi. Dobre boje, voleo bih da procitam neki tvoj komentar ipak...

Ha, evo nama i na Drini cuprija. Odlicna fotografija sa savrsenom kompozicijom i refleksijom. Odlicno odseceno i prekrasne boje. Slazem se ponovo sa Makijem da bi bilo puno bolje da je format veci.

The Bridge on the Drina (Serbo-Croat: На Дрини Ћуприја / Na Drini Ćuprija) is a novel written by Yugoslav writer Ivo Andrić, who was rewarded with a Nobel Prize in 1961.

This book describes the relations between Serbs and Muslims during the occupation by the Ottoman Empire.

The novel gives a historic overview of relations among people in eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is recommended reading for anyone who would like to understand the former Yugoslavia.

The story lasts about four centuries and is in some sense a collection of short stories. What unites the book and becomes in a sense the main "character" is the bridge over the Drina River in Višegrad, now eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina.

A pity the picture is small but the view is excellent. Maybe some more space in the left. The green behind the bridge is nice, ripled water too, good shot !

Great shot Vlado, very nice composition and capture.
The 50/50 split is very well done. The slight speckle on the reflection is a good thing I think, gives a good aspect to the reflection. Well done

Ivo Andric je vrlo vesto nekoliko stotina godina istorije mosta smestio u jednu knjigu .Vi ste celu lepotu tog istoga mosta smestili u refleksiju njegova dva luka.Video sam sve vase slike mosta koje su prekrasne ali ova sama po sebi ih sve zajedno nadmasuje.
Tri elementa su vazna za dobru fotografiju: Kompozicija,Svetlost i Emocije(osecanja)
Ja cu samo dodirnuti treci elemenat, onaj koji je mozda i najteze objasniti a to je osecanje koje pobudi fotografija.Za one koji su citali knjigu a i za one sa tih prostora koji je nisu procitali, taj most znaci mnogo vise od jedne cuprije preko koje se prelazi reka. Za one koji nikada nisu culi za taj most i za Andrica, videvsi vasu fotografiju prvo sto prodje kroz misli:… ako dva luka zrace lepotom, kako tek izgleda ceo most.
