Photographer's Note
An evocative and enigmatic graffiti street artwork on a wall in Veliko Tarnovo. I don't know the significance of the lamb, the wood and the seated girl, but there is a post in Cyrillic that might give a clue?

Bonjour Chris,
Il y a du beau et du moins beau dans cette composition. Mais le beau rattrape le moins.Ce coin de rue avait besoin d'un peu d'amour. Beau rendu des textures et des couleurs.
Amicalement

Hello Chris,
This is a very competent piece of artwork, much better than the scribbles which are evident either side of the picture.
It would be good to know what the symbolic images mean. There is sure to be a very interesting story attached!
A nicely off-centre composition, with sharp details, revealing both images and textures.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hello Chris,
First, you really found a unique graffiti and taken a fine photo of.
Thinking rationally, it seems as this was painted by three different persons, three diff. time intervals.
To my humble opinion, first was the young lady leaning on the table, than - somebody came and added the logs of woods, and finally and "evocatively" added the lamb. Not a real connection between, but this is the "enigmatic" scale of graffiti. And almost forgot: another one came and stuck a paper note...
Good evening,
Ike

Hello Chris,
I made a futile attempt to translate the little sign. Maybe Malgo will know what it means. But it doesn't really matter, and I don't even think there is a connection between the painting and those wrodst. More important is that it's an unusually good and evocative piece of graffiti, and the photo gains a lot from the inclusion of the surrounding walls.
Kind regards,
Gert

Bonsoir, cher Chris,

Hello Chris,
Interesting graffiti on the old door. When there is some Cyrillic, I am ready for help :). The sign here doesn't explain nothing. It is just written that the door is still used. It is really an artwork here. Maybe these are memories from the trip to Africa? Well noticed and nicely presented.

Ciao Chris
A very beautiful and colourful piece of art. It's so good, I had to look twice to make sure it was a painting and not a real person. There's a real three-dimensional feel to this one. Nice one.

Hello Chris,
Veliko Tarnovo doesn’t need to have a museum for contemporary art. The artist presents their masterpieces on the street. And I must say they are talented.
Can I nominate you for conservator of the open air museum in Veliko Tarnovo?

Hello again Chris,
I like this work of art, and the subject is very curious. The old door and walls have that attractive urban grit, and the girl in the painting has a very life-like expression that pulls me in.

Hello Chris,
This makes me think of an illlustration of a sacrifice. I don't consider this mural as graffiti.
It's really a good work while the real graffiti is out of place here.
I remember some very big murals in Veliko Tarnovo. Entire facades as one big painting.
Excellent clear and sharp presentation.
Best regards, Paul

Hello Chris,
maybe its a modern interpretation/depiction of a scene from the Old Testament or a political/social allegory. It's an interesting image that surely attracts glances and stimulates thinking. I like how you used the wall as an assymetrical and dynamic frame, the textures and the colours are very attractive, the girl's gaze is captivating. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great weekend,
Ourania

Hello Chris,
And my additional question would be, "Why does the picture depict a black girl when there are hardly any blacks in Bulgaria?" However, questions aside, you caught a nice work of art. I like the colors and textures.
