The Open Air Theatre located in The Sea Garden has witnessed the soaring stars of a lot of famous people who are experts in their ballet dances, violin masterful play etc.
Has anyone heard Eva Evdokimova? Or Ekaterina Maximova and Vladmir Vassiliev belonging to the older generation of distinguished performers?
Or, perhaps,Monique Gaillard or Vladimir Roget (my brother's once classmate)?
And many others.
The theatre doesn't have such imposing dimensions as L'Arena di Verona but I myself have had unforgettable moments communicating with music and performances.
I'll never forget the young Robertino Loretti. Italians, I doubt, if anyone remembers his bell-like-sounding voice when he was in his teens.:)
Every summer the theatre hosts shows within the framework of the International Musical Festival Varna Summer.
I'm happy, my home city Varna has its modest contribution to the European and world cultural festival life and heritage.
The arcade on the stage covered in ivy is romantic in any season, even now, in autumn.
The theatre seems to be saying "goodbye till next summer".
I have forgotten to try to leave out the cable but I hope, it isn't much irritating.:) Sorry.
