Photographer's Note
We all stand on a certain stairway in some phase of life, someone is climbing trying to reach his goals, someone always stands on the same stairway feeling safe where he is-more like an observer, someone has reached everything ever wanted in life, but does one know that? What after? And of course, u have to fall once in a while just to remind yourself that u can't stay on one stairway for a long time.
Life is full of upswings and comedowns.

Fantastic light and I like the off center placement of the diving board. Contrast is really good and I like the timing of the boy jumping off the board is great. It reminds me of a classic photo from the 1950's. A great shot. Are you loving your D80?

What a beautiful depict of life in your picture.
I like touching explanation of the perfect shot.
The B&W effect works perfect here.
About the picture I am just confused why you have left the space on left side of image, if you left that space on right side of image that will be helpful to show the shadow.
except this everything works fine here...
TFS.

Bonsoir Gordana,
Une belle lumière qui tombe sur ce plongeoir
et accentue à merveille les contrastes.
Belle scène d'activité sportive et de jeux, avec un bon cadrage vertical.

Zdravo Gordana. Not only a fine photo, but a dose of philosophy in addition. Both equally stimulating. I love the light and the lovely smooth grain. Of course the composition with the vertical emphasis is very apt. The human interest is high as we study each character doing his/her thing. Well done. Pozdrav. Klaudio.

Is the guy on the highest level really going to jump?
That is a very fine photo, with just the right amount of light, but most of all I like your note- it is one of the most charming and touching I've ever read on TE. Thanks!

Hey again, another fine shot with your D80, you're really coming on strong now, I think. The B & W is good here and draws the attention to the bridge and the jumpers, as they stand in very fine contrast. Great clouds in the top. Greet's Jens ;-)

A high quality shot Gordana. Avoiding the superposition between the diver and the diving board would have reinforced the impact of your work. Well done

Hola,
a very original picture of a perfect moment. The three boys, the lights,...but you have made an excellent composition and a really good cropt. The B&W is a good choice to improve the graphics aspects.
Best regards,
Javier

Hello Gordana, and same with me, I have never "seen" you before ... sometimes it is really strange. I went through your gallery and it is amazing how fast you have established your own special style. Wonderful to see you grow! This photo is absolutely strong and I don't know where I stand, maybe I am the one looking down not ready to jump yet but as things change in life and is in constant movement for all of us ... who really knows :) This is really good, I love it. Barbara.
