Photographer's Note

I'll start posting photos taken with my new camera (from my last trip to Croatia), with this tourist who I captured when he was looking at the city map of Zagreb (the capital) the first night after buying my camera. I'm still getting used to it, learning it, it's so different from those small point-and-shoot cameras.
Anyway, I hope u'll like my image.

Po dolgata pauza, so odlicen fotoaparat i so ideja koja voodusevuva.Ocigledni se vpecatocite od Zagreb, no mnogu polesno ke ja najdev slikata da bese na Macedonia :)Super ti e idejata i mi se dopaga likot sto ne e centriran, a i svetloto e odlicno.Slika koja govori mnogu, a ovoj turistot ... verojatno ke se snajdi bidejki od ovde se gleda preglednosta na kartata :))
Pozdrav, i ti posakuvam mnogu poubavi sliki od onie sto veke bevme naviknati da gi gledame ... i da se vivnes vo svetot na fotografijata so noviot aparat :)

I really like the color tones you captured here. The tourist pointing to the map as if saying "where is the hell am I" is great as well. Congrats on the new DSLR, try using RAW, once you start you will never shoot anything else.

Zdravo Gordana. Drago mi je da si opet tu.Nekako prazno je bilo bez tvog optimistickog glasa i life-affirming slika. Kao i ova, puna toplih boja i sjaja.Svidja mi se i elegantan okvir. Nadam se da si bila i u Dalmaciji. Moji su iz Like, Biograda, Zadra, Splita i Filip Jakova.Pozdrav do sljeduceg puta. Klaudio.

Good daily life street type shot Gordana. Color and composition is good. The title explains, or is an excellent, interpretation of the photo. Congrats on the camera.

Hi Gordana. Last week I also shifted from a Panasonic Lumix to the D80/18-135 so I find your first upload very interesting as I haven't yet myself chosen the right photo. Fine use of the wide angle as you got close to the motive and I especially like the way you handled the light, a nice fitting frame too. I find the shift to DSLR rather challenging, as you don't just push the button and get a perfect shot like in the compact. With this lens I think you have to think hard every time of zoom and aperture to avoid dark corners, and you have to watch your POV very carefully to compensate from horisontal curves. I'll follow how you get along, so see ya soon :-))) Greetings Jens
