Prague in winter becomes a gray city, it gives a special magic and mystic charm. Walking through snowy streets, buildings walk through the fog and.. ice skating when it freezes the snow!! (really fun if you're not used to snow)

It becomes a melancholy place for those who walk alone waiting for something or someone..

Hello Christina,

unsual place for such a shot during summer, but looking outside the window, one could think about early autumn too..
black and white is real a good choice in this case.. like a lot your composition ant hte note about..

The B&W works well and what I like are the lights/shades and the graphism provided by the trees. The human presence is a bonus, adding life to the image!

Nice shot in snowy atmosphere with good composition by the lonely passing man in-between naked trees...

good exposure controlled with nice light management...nice B/W tone & sharpness with nice chosen POV...

A graphic and moody W&B, well composed and rich in interesting details. I like the light and the textures of the snow, but above all the whole atmosphere.

Me parece que es lo primero que pones en B&W, y debo decirte que me gusta mucho, me gusta ese fuerte contraste entre los dos colores y ese juego de sombras. Muy buena toma!

A really refreshing image at the time when we're having hell's temperatures here:))(And a huge thunderstorm's approaching!)
Well, I'm used to snow and I never miss it. I'd choose scorching heat over freezing cold any time. It's nice to look at your stern image but I'm not hoping to see this scenery any time soon:))

Hello Cristina,

A very refreshing to have a winter scene in the middle of summer. I can well imagine the greyness of winter in northern Europe. But I like the fact that when it snows, Every noise in the city seems to disappear, and tranquility remains. Melancholic mood perhaps has something to do with it. B&W image is very effective. It emphasizes the whiteness of the snow. A simple black framing goes together well. Having a person walking in front of you helps to put a focus to the image. TFS

yes, i can certainly see the charm here.
Especially with all those birch trees, they make for great subjects.
All areas are nice, the lower, middle, and upper regions.
