St. Vitus from Inside, a photo from Prague, Bohemia

Photographer's Note

The Cathedral of st.Vitus in Prague. One of the most photographed building in the world. Represents the well-known Praha skyline. And it is one of buldings that took longest to build (from 1060 to 1929, i.e. 869 years!)
Not many know that from 1997 the catherdral has two additional patrons, so the official name is now Catherdral of st. Vitus, Wenceslas and Vojtech (from 1997).
I had luck for special lighting effects by late afternoon (just before closing the cathedral at 6PM) light shining through stained-glass windows. Wonderful atmosphere.
However it´d be even better if one had somewhere to sit and pray or meditate.
And I also had luck I did not shake-blur the photo at 1/40s (and notice it - as usually - at home :-)).

Shot to RAW using CHDK, processed in ACR and PS CS4.

superba cattedrale gotica che hai fotografato nella sua maestosità e imponenza con un luce che contribuisce a dargli anche un senso di mistero.
Lo sviluppo in verticale e le persone piccole piccole accentuano la profondità e prospettiva.
