Photographer's Note

Usually the travellers arrive to Hrad (castle) Karlstejn by train. Going from the train station the visitors cross the river, bypass the mountain and begin to rise along the main and only street of small town framed by ancient houses under tile roofs. At the moment in front of them becomes the majestic show - the tower and walls of the gothic fortress as though soaring above the town and valley. The castle was built by German king Karl VI in 14th century. PP: crop, levels, framing. Hope you enjoy that. Thank you for the comments and have a nice weekend.

what a beautiful castle and of course, your picture too. The upper parts of the castle are very special, not familiar here. It reminds me of an old movie with Sisi (not that I like these kinds of movies...)

Very good colours, light, composition. I cannot find something wrong here. The blue clouds make a very nice background and the green grass a beautiful ground.
