I've always been impressed by the skills of the architects in producing places like these modern airports and train stations where everythings looks cold and impersonal. Walls of concrete, soft lights, people wandering ghostly and not a smell. It's only thanks to this complete lack of soul and senses that I can feel like at home within 2 minutes, but forget it as soon as I step out.


This shot brings many memories back. I remember how quiet and cold it was, while a few days ago I was beach buming on the coast, surfing some of the best waves in my life (check photos of the quiksilver pro 2004...).
I took this shot in Kastrup train station while moving from France to England via Sweden to see my girlfriend. Oh... and yes, this is Denmark, obviously! This journey launched a year spent in planes, trains, buses and boats.

I think that the composition of this shot is OK for my standards, but I never managed to process it as well as I wish (workshopers...) ;-)
