Photographer's Note
Finally a sunny day here in Denmark - or rather half a day, it's already grown overcast again.. So, I decided to make the most of it and took Milloup for a lunch outing to "Den Gamle By" - the Old Town, our open air museum. As we're in the middle of summer the place was teeming with tourists who - like us - were trying to make the most of the for once sunny weather.
The Old Town was started around 1915, when the so-called "Lord Mayor's House" was moved to its present position. Since then house after house has been added to the collection, and houses are still being added as I write. Amongst my favourites are these two old timber-framed houses which go so well together. I couldn't resist the temptation to get them against a blue sky ;-)
Treatment: Crop, saturation +10, USM and resize.

Oh, I haven't been there for years. this is a very nice picture and composition of the Lord Mayors House. I can see the weather was better in the morning than it was when I was back after my job.
Very well use of dof and the colours are great.

Hey you should have dropped by, Milloup and you are very welcome in my appartment, even with mud on your feet (I bet there was an opportunaty for you to get in the creek :o) Anyway, pictures of blue skies are very welcome and with this lovely house in front of it, what more could I ask for?. Great shot.

Very nice picture, house and colours. Thank goodness that some of the old houses around the world are being preserved in these open air museums.

Pleasing colour tones in the buildings and nice blue backdrop, Bente. This is as old as my dad. He turns 89 next month!
Where is the crow on the roof?
