Sunny autumn day in Hervanta, a suburb of Tampere. Maples are the most colourful trees of autumn, but they drop leaves earlier than other trees.

Hi Kari.
I love this autumn photo. Especially the way the slightly curving path goes between the golden trees, and is well populated with walkers. Such a strong sense of depth in this. I like also the compositional elements, including the proportions and the inclusion of the tall apartment blocks and nice 'V' shape of sky. Those autumn shadows really create the mood.

Kari, this is beautiful shot, with great sharpness and true colors of the autumn. The presence of people is nice and it gives the photo more liveliness..

Hi Kari,
Like the hourglass framing shaped by the autumn trees. Very good depth, the scene below unfolds in a harmonious and interesting way, peaceful but not monotone atmosphere, just right for the season. The sky is a bit overexposed top left, definitely no big deal in my book, as imperfections such as these are unimportant cnsdering the whole picture. Also, I like the colortones a lot.

Hej Kari,
I like your POV here, where both background houses and trees provide a "wedge" down to the slightly off-centre road. Good autmn colours and a pleasant scene with all the people providing life and action.

The number of people enjoying the fine October weather is what makes this view different from the number of autumn scenes..!

Bonjour Kari,
c'est toujours agréable de voir des photos de Finlande, elles sont en effet assez rares sur le site. Celle-ci montre une vue qu'on aurait pu prendre dans un autre pays, pas très typique mais très jolie, le POV et la profondeur y sont pour beaucoup.
Bel hommage à l'automne.
