Photographer's Note

Finlayson is a former factory area in Tampere. It has been refurbished to offices, restaurants, museums and art galleries. Finlayson Art Area is an annual event presenting statues, offering free gallery visits and various performances. One feature was these painted pavements.

Hi Kari,
very nice capture. The waves make a difference, they add a nice touch to the elegant buildings. They somehow break the seriousness of the place. People walking there bring again some life into the scene.

I love street art, and, in this case, the art is actually on the street itself. :-) I like this composition, showing not only the colorful waves in the foreground, but also showing the art in the alley. I like the architecture, too. Take care!
