Photographer's Note

Museum train of class Dm7 diesel railbuses in Tampere.
These railbuses nicknamed Lättähattu (Flat Hat) were built by Valmet in Tampere 1955-1963. They were a major means of passenger transport on low traffic lines and also on stopping services of main lines especially in 1960's. Use by state railways' daily service ended in 1988. A few of them have remained in museum use.
The green sign is a locator sign which tells roughly the distance in km to Helsinki central station.

Hello Kari,
This train doesn't look totally different from some suburban trams in Stockholm, although I am sure they are a lot more modern. The rain has softened the light and colours quite nicely and created a fine contrast between the blue rail-buses and the mainly orange walls, covered with graffiti. Whether out of necessity or artistic intentions it was a good idea to make the photo include the curve.
