This city is very known by travellers of the south-west of France and Spain; it is the first train stop coming from Paris.
A shuttle transports the travellers whose destination is Orleans located at a few kilometers from here.
The station of Orleans is a cul-de-sac, because the inhabitants of this city had refused the passage of the iron horse at the end of the XIX° century.
This city is located at the doors of the national forest of Orleans, vastest of France: 35.000 hectares. The increasing evolution of the population must on arrival of the railroad which made of Fleury-les-Aubrais, until now, the crossroads of a vast rail communication.
