ponytails are seen on the teenager girls, but I think this woman is older now! I was surprised too to see it was coming through a hole at the back of her hat,it should take several minutes to adapt this hat on the hair.

Je ne pense pas que cette dame soit de première jeunesse, par contre les teintes de rose dans ses cheveux fait très jeune. Le plan serré est excellent et le cadrage original.

I think that these lady a long time ago the teenager time is passing.
But today a ponytail is not difficult, in a lot shops are these to sale.
The hat is a very good camouflage for apply of these ponytail.
Colours and sharpness make these picture attractive.
Excellent composition, nice captured.

As John (jhm) says, I shouldn't be at all surprised if you could actually buy hats like this - already modified to cater for a ponytail!

This is a brilliant shot and the black clothing of the lady makes the white ponytail, her hat and the light green strap of her bag stand out beautifully. The sharpness on the lady's hat and ponytail is superb against a nicely out of focus background. A lovely and expertly taken candid shot!

Ha! Ha! Claude, we will have to speculate whether the hair is her own or bought with the hat! If you look carefully, the hair coming from under her hat bears a strong resemblance to the colour and texture of the plait! I think she is reliving her youth!
A great observational shot, with a fine, narrow dof and an excellent composition.

Hi Claude, You are right, usually small girl have ponytails, here it looks funny with the special hole in the hat and a bit rose colour of the hair.
But my son is not a teenager and also has something like ponytail . well observed.

yes, a funny candid type of photograph, something you're quite good at :)

I wonder, as we all are, did she modify the hat herself or did she purchase it like this?

funny to see the shoulder pads in the shirt...i thought that was a 1990's fad...i thought that was all gone...perhaps she's living a decade or two behind us all in that regards :)
