Photographer's Note

We are always at the international Festival of kite, in Dieppe.
The demonstrations of free flight will begin. The Indian team bustles over their kite mascot.
All is thoroughly controlled because the take-off and even more the stability in flight depends on all the components on the kite.
And moreover, there is endless discussion to tune the set, according to the intensity estimated of the wind in the selected altitude...
Of course, each one has its opinion on this tuning.
But it took off and magnificiently held in the air, under the applause of the spectators and particularly of the children.

Hi Jean Louis,
You've shown the excitement of the festival well. The costumes of the kite-masters are almost as extravagant as the kite and you've shown it well including the Indian pair and another kite in the background.

Salut Jean-Louis,
Ces derniers temps j'ai un petit peu pensé à toit : la saison de la mirabelle, un peu en retard cette année va bientôt se terminer.
Ici, les couleurs sont éclatantes, vraiment séduisantes.
Très bonne profondeur de champ, la netetté est très bonne sur le cerf-volant et les deux personnes, l'ensemble se détache très bien avec un arrière-plan un peu flouté. Une photo très réussie.

Hard to believe. But I think that the photo shows a lot of dedication from those guys to make this kite really flying. Their costumes are interesting but they make the picture noisy.
