Here a team at the time of the trials of the championship of acrobatic kite.
The championship consists of two event : one of compulsory figures and one of free figures.
Here, the team carries out a part of the compulsory figures. They have to describe by connecting them successively, the letters L,S,I. The kites degin the letter S.
These letters do not mean anything, said me a judge, we escaped to the letters L,S,D !
Of course, the kites must be in order with a equal distance and follow the same curves at the same places.
The leader of each team has a very important role, because he has to synchronize, by the voice, all the changes of figures.
The focal used to seize at the same time the kites and the cervolists levels a little the distances, but the kites wheel to forty meters.
The success is thus related to a strong team spirit, with an intensive training, an extreme concentration during the event and with a physical stamina which makes it possible, by fast movements, to counter a temporary reduction in the intensity of the wind or an abrupt change of direction.
Moreover, all the team and the engines must remain inside a lawful rectangle, verified by line-judges.
