Photographer's Note

To finish with this series of pictures of the International Festival of kites of Dieppe, I wanted to show you the super kite which welcome me when I arrived.
Designed brillantly, it remained in the air all the day, even when the wind died down and that all the other kites were lying on the ground.
We can realize its extraordinary size facing to the bathers.
The events were even suspended because one needs a ground speed of wind from at least 4 hm/h and the Ground-Manager checks it regularly with his manual anemometer.
And during all this time, it still flew.
