Photographer's Note

A lovely simple cross, glowing in the winter sun. Here is the interior of St. Séverin, built a bit later than Notre Dame, but more peaceful and less besieged by tourists. The first 3 bays of the nave date from the 13th century; the nave was lengthened in the 15th century and a rounded apse with ambulatory was added. The style is late Gothic flamboyant.
