Photographer's Note

Source WIKIPEDIA: Commissioned by the President of France François Mitterrand in 1984, it was designed by the architect I. M. Pei. The structure, which was constructed entirely with glass segments, reaches a height of 21.6 metres (about 71 feet); its square base has sides of 35 metres (115 ft). It consists of 603 rhombus-shaped and 70 triangular glass segments.

"We don't often see B&W from you" has written a TE member. I learned photography in 1965 and developped my first B&W largements in 1967, so now I know when the light creates lines, surfaces that B&W could be better than a color picture; this is the case here the curves of the shadow of the tourists contrast with the straight lines of the famous pyramid.
