Muro, a photo from Corse, South

Photographer's Note

I continue today my turn of the villages of BALAGNA with a sight of MURO, charming village located at 320 m of altitude on the surrounding mountains of the basin of ILE ROUSSE.
This village (258 inhabitants) is at 13 km of the beach and 20 km of CALVI.
The Roman presence there is noted.
The fire of CALENZANA of the 03/07/2005 which had crossed two mountainous peaks, saved this village, stopping in AVAPESSA, next village.
The panorama was carried out by the assembly of two photographs with PANAVUE.

Hey Pierre, this is great. But such an expansive view I think requires a large post. Greta view but it would be so much better as a panorama. Its still very nice, especially the colors.

Bonjour Pierre.
on ne peut plus dissocier ta si belle Balagne et ce terrible mal qui la ronge chaque été.
l'actualité tristement le prouve.
il n'en reste que ce coin de ton ile est fabuleux et que ta photo me fait languir de retourner flaner à pied ou a vélo à travers ces si jolis villages de montagne.

Joli paysage, sous une lumière très (trop?) forte.
Bonne composition avec jste ce qu'il faut comme ciel.

First class of landscape, excellent framed.
The village is really wonderful situated and You show all the charm of its location.
I only think it would be even more interesting with the whole curving road on the right visible.

Wonderful large post. I like this lovely view of that village against the hills and surrounded by trees. Fine lighting as well, good work.
