How easily we destroy our history.
Why don't we just tear down all this old junk and build more glass towers?
I love the image, but I'm saddened by the story.

love these abandoned places, wish we could find more and more of them here on TE.

probably without the three pieces of wood, it would be hard to tell if its truly abandoned.

the gloom and doom of the monochrome was a good choice too.
excellent post with fine textures.

Hello Magaly,
A derelict building but once evidently very elegant and presumably too expensive to renovate. Black and white suits the subject perfectly. Superb rendering of the textural detail.

The b/w conversion really shows the textural detail on the old brickwork. Interesting pattern picture thanks to your clever framing. Excellent quality image that I enjoy a lot.

Are they really going to throw it down? It's the same problem everywhere, such a beautiful building! I like the composition a lot and the conversion also. Very good contrast!
