Photographer's Note

Frontal shot of the impressive palace of the popes situated in Avignon. Construction of the palace commenced in 1335 and was completed in less than 20 years. Photo was taken in the mid afternoon. Polarising filter, 12-24 mm. Curve adjustment and saturation boosted (+6) with photoshop.

What a nice capture here Brenda. I notice you sure were pointing your camera upwards. It has created a striking capture with thie point of view. The sun was at a nice angle too allowing some nice shadow highlights. Cheers to you...a fine posting!

Great shot. It's almost to fisheye effect. The lines of the buildings are very nicely centered around the two middle towers. Good sharpness and natural colors. Good job.

Hi Brendan, I saw thtat we wesiteds similar places, but your photos are much better. I don´t repere my photo, maybe just a litlle brightnes. Probably it is reason that I like your picturess a lot.
