Photographer's Note
Situated in the Hautes-Alpes, the Abbey of Boscodon is a 12th century Romanesque buildin classified as a historical monument.
we are standing in the abbaye closter and we cann see the church and the steeple.
the roofs are covered with larch boards, one of the traditional covers of the southern Alps.
a small Dominican community ensures the guardianship and the cult animation of the place.

Hi Christine,
A well chosen angle to this ancient abbey. It is so nice to see all the signs of age on old stone walls. Light is excellent and shadows add good contrasts.

Good Morning Christine,
What an interesting, old building, with quite distinctive decorative windows.
It looks great in this warm light.
I like the w/s details, too but this is definitely a main post where the pointed shadow perfectly frames the pointed roof areas of the building.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Christine
A good upward pov towards the old stone belltower, with excellent sharpness and framing. Nice warm vs cold colour contrasts. Merci pour ce partage.
