Photographer's Note
Bottlebruches is the common name given to these pretty red callistemon flowers. Indeed their shape evokes a swab to clean the bottles.

Hello Jean,
This flower would probably be useless for brushing a bottle. It's so much better just to admire its colours and fine details. It's really beautiful in this fine light.

Hello Jean,
Bottlebrush couldn't be a better name for this very colourful, exquisitely-spiky flower!
I like this close-up, which is sharp and detailed, clearly revealing the special qualities of the flower.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Bonjour Jean,
Les branches et les feuilles cadrent bien la fleur. La prise de vue permet de voir avec précision les détails de la fleur. La lumière fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée,

Hi Jean,
You are right the name describes the appearance perfectly. Beautiful flower. Stem reaching the frame from the left adds originality to your shot. I don't think I've seen these in Finland, not even in gardens. Maybe they can't take the climate.

Hello Jean,
I am afraid they would not be too effective in cleaning bottles, but they are lovely as flowers.

Bonjour Jean,
A beautifully sharp photo with great natural colours. Bottle brushes come from Australia where they grow in many different climate zones. They are common as garden plants around the Mediterranean (Spain, southern France, Italy) and also southwestern France as your photo shows.

Bonjour Jean,
I may have mentioned that already under another photo of this unique flower that when I first saw the tree, it was in LA, I was wondering whether somebody attached the pink bottle brushes to the bush for some reason. They were so perfect like real bottle brushes. Beautiful close up view of the flower.
Excellent work,
M

Hello Jean,
Bottlebrush is a native of Australia that is now popular in Europe and other continents as well. Good use of selective focus with perfect sharpness. Merci pour ce partage. Tfs!
