Photographer's Note

Yesterday, 09/09/09, was my official second birthday on TE.

I was quite desappointed because I was too busy to celebrate the event yesterday.
But now, I wonder why it was so important: tomorrow will be 9/11... and there will be an awful event to commemorate, much more important than a registration on a web site, even a very friendly one;-)

Anyway, it is still good to have a passion to share with friends... so here I am, with a photo taken at the entrance of the Thoronet Abbey, a masterpiece of the Romanesque art from Provence. It dates back to the 12th century.

When we arrived there, early morning, it was still closed. But even from the outside, we became soaked with its serene atmosphere. And that's the reason why I finally choose this one today.

When we came back, two hours later, there were some tourists here and there and at the end of the morning, it was full of kids playing and running everywhere, filling the air with their joyfull shouts.

I will post later a photo of the abbey and will share more information about this impressive site with you.

In the meantime, my thoughts are with my american friends, who I wish to be soaked too with this feeling of serenity.
