Église Saint-Eustache, Paris - view from Le Forum des Halles.

The church is a Gothic structure clothed in Renaissance detail.
Was built between 1532 and 1632.
The church’s reputation was strong enough of the time for it to be chosen as the location for a young Louis XIV to receive communion.
Mozart also chose the sanctuary as the location for his mother’s funeral. Among those baptised here as children were Richelieu, Jeanne-Antoinette Poisson, future Madame de Pompadour and Molière, who was also married here two decades later.
The last rites for Anne of Austria, Turenne and Mirabeau were pronounced within its walls. Marie de Gournay is buried there. (from Wikipedia)

Hello Jolanta,
A well chosen point of view to highlight the difference in these two striking architectural styles. The curving handrail makes an effective lead line. I like the soft light and tones. Thanks for sharing.

Swiatlo takie sobie, pogoda taka sobie, ale architektura wiecej niz ciekawa, ladnie pokazana poprzez kontrast, fajnie jeden obiekt zachodzi na drugi, porzadna ostrosc. Pomyslowa ramka.

Zdjecie dobre, ciekawa architektura w kadrze, stara i nowo, ponowoczesna. Szkoda tylko, ze ten dol troche psuje kompozycje, gdybys zrobila dwa kroki do przodu byloby lepiej, ale wtedy byc moze mialabys klopot z objeciem calosci.

a very nice mixt well ballanced between modern architectur and the church in the BG. The FG very well selcetd and the POV give a greta depht to the image too. Image rich in details well collected.

Dobro vece iz Cuprije.
Kontrast starog i modernog, uklopljeno u ovoj lepoj fotografiji, dobrih boja i postignute ostrine po dubini.

Duzo sie dzieje w tym kadrze- w ciekawy sposob polaczylas prawie 500 lat historii w swojej kompozycji. Duzy plus za caloksztalt (zdjecie+ opis). Takich materialow nam tu trzeba.
