Photographer's Note

This is a projected replica (on a wall) of the famous Bayeux Tapestry. This is a world heritage site and the main attraction of this small town called Bayeux apart from the Cathedrale.

Technically, shooting the original one is prohibited by order of the museum authorities. We had a chance to shoot the replica during the light and sound show that runs for two months of the summer season.

The original tapestry is quite long and around 70 mts in lengthand an impressive hand weaved embroidery. We had to wait till 11 pm in the night for the light and sound show to begin, due to the long days of summer. But the show was exequisite and refreshing.
