Photographer's Note
During a week alone in Paris, I took a series of images in various parts of the city. As an Australian used to mild winters, I found the soft light and classic city-scape scenery to be evocative. As a new participant, I will add additional images from this series and others from around the world in coming weeks. Comments and critique are welcome.
Technical: Originally shot on Fuji velvia, the transparency was scanned using a Canoscan 9900F. Perspective was 'pulled out' at the top of the image and colour slightly saturated in PS.

Welcome to TE, Mark! Nice debut photo. I like the composition - the rows of trees leading the eye to the building that stretches from left to right. But even more so, I love the colors - the blue/purple of the sky merging with the yellow of the building. The silhouettes of the trees complete the image. Well seen. Keep posting!
