The point of Raz, a photo from Bretagne, West

Photographer's Note

La pointe du Raz (nom local en breton Beg ar Raz) est un promontoire rocheux constituant la partie la plus avancée vers l'Ouest du cap Sizun, face à la mer d'Iroise au Sud-ouest du Finistère. Située à l'ouest de la commune de Plogoff, elle forme une "proue" d'une hauteur de 72 mètres dominant le Raz de Sein. C'est l'un des sites les plus emblématiques des côtes granitiques de la Bretagne.

Cette vue classique mais sensationnelle m'inspire toujours les mots de G. Toudouze.

Vous pouvez apercevoir à gauche sur la ligne d'horizon l'île de Sein avec son phare blanc, le temps était clair quand j'ai pris ce cliché.

nice the view as the presentation of the point of Raz with the rocks to add depth and perspective in the scene lead-in the eyes on the lighthouse.The excellent light and colour management enhance even more the beauty and the details of the image.

Indeed the lighthouse in the sea is a nice addition.
I like the blue water and white moves of the waves..
Excellent picture of the soft background.
Colours and sharpness is beautiful with a lovely foreground.

La distance entre la pointe et l'horizon donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de la pointe du Raz. La qualité de la lumière embellit les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

A rocks formation that offer an intriguing sight for photography, but no wonder a number of light-tower erected there to warn seamen about the danger on those.
Fine view in good visibility till the light-tower on the island at the very far horizon. Beautiful seascape in shining blue and white.

This is a splendid view of the rough sea, some unwelcoming rocks and two (or three?) lighthouses. You have balanced the different elements of the composition very nicely and the colours are also very harmonious.

this coast looks wild, dangerous and fascinating, I like very much the clear textures and the vivid, contrasting colours that enhance the impact of this view.
