Bonjour Philippe,
Wonderful old gate leading to the abbey, and the wall stretches far to the right side beyond.
Depth and clarity superbly achieved.
Must be interesting to know about the aromatic-plants they probably sale there.

Hello Philippe,
My TE neighbour today. This is a very agreeable nicely balanced composition perfectly adapted to the square framing. I like the light and shadow play. The whole is very exposed with excellent colours and clarity. Great pity we are unable to smell the aromatic plants:-)

A lovely combination if the green of the landscape and the earth-colours of the gate and the road combined with the deep blue sky.

L'allée envoie mon regard au loin ce qui donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'arche et des murs. La bonne luminosité met en valeur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

You use the arch if frame this is wonderful. .
We get a lovely panorama view about the area.
Also out of a nice angle.
Colourful and sharp well photographed.

J'ai eu le grand plaisir de visiter ( pas assez longtemps) cette très joie ville, mais il y a bien longtemps et pas cette partie qui semble un peu en campagne. Très jolie composition.

Hello Philippe,
I like your POV that uses the gently curving path to lead the eyes into the photo. The nice arch is well placed and the deep blue sky, combined with the greenery on the ground, lifts up the viewer's soul.
