Not a part of France that I've been to. The huts are fascinating and the inclusion of the yacht balances the dullness of the water.

Hi Jean

Even 70 km away from the Yangzi River estuary in China, the sea water was still this same brown color. Nice repetition of the fishing huts and piers with good sharpness and the passing yacht adds a focal point. Tfs!

Hello Jean,
The huts and boardwalks make this graphically attractive and the lonely boat is well placed. It also explains that we are looking at water and not a desert. Most of all I like the fine light and the unusual mild pastel colours. It's an unusual but very attractive composition.

La distance entre les cabane et l'horizon crée de la profondeur. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des carrelets. La présence du voilier a un effet d'échelle de grandeur. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Jean,

J'aime beaucoup ces cabanes de pèche. Tellement typiques de cette région. Tu as trouvé un beau point de vue pour nous en montrer quelques unes en plus du beau voilier au loin.

Hello Jean, the very 'busy' foreground with all the lines of the little piers contrasts so well with the flat sea of the background. Plus a good diagonal of the small huts across the composition.
The lone yacht is well placed too.

The identical shape of the huts steals the show in the setting as seen form this angle and the sail boat successfully stops the eye from straying away. Lovely compo on bright day but exposoure is well managed. Excellent.

Hi Jean we don't have these here in Canada, I'd love the chance to photograph them some time. you did wonderful work, your shot is so clear and with warm light striking the huts. nice addition to have the sailboat in the upper bg to carry the shot. fine post and subject. cheers
