For the "Pinasse festival", one of the participating « pinasse » gathering was beautifully decorated with colorful pennants.
In the background we see the famous and high Pilat Dune located at the entrance to the Bassin d'Arcachon.

At first I thought that this boat was a boat
that i often see near my home at Volos city
then I red that this boat was beautifully
decorated with colorful pennants
in order to participate in Pinasse festival
simple photo but nice
pretty and interesting
a different scenery from our
daily life

glad you mentioned the sand dune way in the bg. I probably wouldn't have really noticed it, thats an interesting addition especially bc its so close to the water. all the flags add sparks of colour, that's important, and most of all the exposure is spot on. I can almost feel the breeze :)

Nice picture from the festival. The boat is nicely decorated with the flags. Rather amusing looks the man on the board, it seems to be on the top of the boat. Nice picture.

La dune de Pilat se profile joliment à l'horizon (j'ai vu récemment un reportage sur la dune du Pilat : passionnant).

Hello Jean,
It's a bright and attractive photo, mainly thanks to the colourful decorations of the nearest boat. I guess those flags have a meaning, but that is beyond me as a non-sailor.
