Tall ships mored along the Bordeaux quays, that's so fantastic. The tiny sailors on board the Sedov give the scale of these giant vessels. Look at this massive anchor which can be left by hand!

Bien cadrés ces superbes bateaux et avec ce marin pour donner vie et échelle à la vue de ces anciens navires à voile, très photogénique, c'est bien présenté.

Hello Claude, The anchor is indeed impressive. Splendid composition. I like these strange black and white lines (ropes?) on the right side. Why the picture is so small? Nice view of the contemplating sailor.

The many masts and ropes create a somewhat confusing picture, although graphically interesting, but the sailors leaning on the rail, and of course the huge anchor, are very eye-catching. The colours are nice and it's a very sharp photo.

There's a lot of happenings around here and a very busy visually when these huge vessels meet at some point. Good feel of compressed perspective which forces the eye to hover from back to forth, but speck of red, that guy and the oversize anchor help to settle the eye. You stand at the right spot to visualise what you have envisioned. Great!
