This is a "must", go to the Gavarnie cirque - a round of 6 km of mountains of 3000 m high, old area of a glacier, UNESCO site, 1 hour walk to reach the Hotel du Cirque . Then, almost eveverybody wants to go to the foot of the higher French cascade (420 m high). Shower guararanteed!

Hello Claude,
It's amusing and a bit dramatic. The strength of the cascade is well captured, and we can see from the darker stones that the area closest to the waterfall is quite wet. The persons seem to be trying to keep away from the water, but they probably failed. It's a well captured photo and nicely composed.

These hikers arrived in a spectacular place.
The water seems to crash very powerfully. Not the place to take a shower at the bottom, I guess.
The five hikers give us a good idea of the size of the waterfall.

En effet, la cascade est impressionnante et photogénique, bien prise cette vue avec les randonneurs prêts pour la douche rafraîchissante, ils apportent pour la photo quelques touches de couleurs dans cette vue presque en n&b.

Awesome view of this high waterfall. The water really spreads there to thick fog like spray. Good to see the people there to get idea of the scale. This shot looks a bit soft though.

ces paquets d'eau sont impressionnants... il y a la douche certes mais celà doit aussi être bruyant...
