In Châtelaillon-Plage ... there is of course a pleasant beach but the local church, Ste Madeleine, is worth a visit. Bonjour Jean,

I have never seen such colourful ceiling decorations inside a basilica. They look a little like peeled fruit skins! And the stained glass windows are also fantastic. Tfs!

I presume this was an old church (not so old) with a simple interior and someone decided to let a modern artist to decorate it at modern way. really beautiful and surprising effect.

The exterior of the church is very nice but I cannot imagine that uninformed people would have any idea of the beauty that it contained! This is astonishing! It's an amazingly modern and beautiful piece of art!
I love how you have cropped the scene symmetrically to confirm the originality of what is contained!
The colours and the light have been extremely well captured.

Comme d'autres l'ont noté, c'est vraiment une grande et très agréable surprise de trouver cet intérieur après avoir vu l'extérieur de l'église.
C'est sans aucun doute un magnifique intérieur moderne.
Les couleurs et les formes sont superbes et excellemment présenté dans une composition symétrique.

What beautiful artwork! The colors are very bright, and the patterns are different from art I've seen in other churches. It's more modern. Very nice presentation, with good symmetry and control of the difficult lighting. Take care!
