hese buoys mark the swimming area, in principle up to 300m from the shore; in winter the water in the lake has dropped and the buoy is there a few steps in the water! we are still at Serre Ponçon lake and out of season.

That's another little gem, Chrstine. Perfectly in line with the shot you posted before, this one too would make a stunning record cover like the one I referred to in my previous critique.
In the thumbnail I thought the dark shape was part of a bollard.
