Spring heat record!
A view (archive) of the Cap Ferret peninsula where the day before yesterday a record heat for May 18 was observed: 35°C!
An exceptional heat wave for the spring period was observed this year with 37 consecutive days of temperatures above normal seasonal levels, particularly in the south of France. Global warming seems to be here!

It seems that everyone is suffering from global warming. The beautiful details in this panoramic view are pleasing to the eye. The symmetry between the two beaches is fascinating. Clarity and exposure done well. Beautiful shot

It is interesting you getting 35°. Where I live we usually get a few days each summer but over this last summer it was so wet and mild that we didn't get to 30° once! Today in autumn it only made 9°. A good photo to go with your record hot weather.

Hello Jean,
Stockholm right now 10 °C and pouring rain. Where is global heating when we need it? ;-)
This is a nice view that seems to offer a choice of warm or slightly cooler water. I like the composition and the panoramic shape.

Bonjour Jean,
There is 13 degrees in North East England where I live today. We had quite high hopes for the global warming but it is still not warmer here...
Nice panoramic view of the narrow part of the peninsula.
The clouds make a charming decoration too.

La longueur de la plage donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de la plage. La lumière fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Hello Jean,
It has been unusually warm here as well lately. This is a nice landscape with the warm colours of the dam in between the blue water on both sides. Also those small clouds are really attractive. Well done.

here we faced a strong cold wave with many snow in the south, in my town not so much damages (a big risk with the frosts, a miracle we were't hit directly), at same time Brasilia, in central brazil, broke its record of lower historic temperature (1.4 celsius), curiously much lower than our one. a nice view of this strip between the two blue waters.

Hello Jean,
I can't quite tell the temperature from the photo, but it looks nice and sunny. The natural causeway leads the eyes into the frame.

Sure, Global warming affects everywhere, Jean.
