Photographer's Note

Between the Atlantic Ocean and the Bassin d'Arcachon, the lighthouse on the Cap Ferret peninsula. A lighthouse that I have repeatedly presented on TE with different views. Built in 1840 with a lantern at more than 50 meters high and a footbridge that can be reached by climbing 258 steps...from where the view is superb!

Hello Jean,
This lighthouse is becoming famous on TE, but it deserves to be seen often. It's so bright, and in this warm light it gets a fantastic glow as it rises above the trees. It's a simple but very eye-catching photo.

Les arbres cadrent bien le phare. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du phare de la péninsule du Cap Ferret. La lumière fait ressortir les couleurs. Bonne journée.

Bonjour Jean,
I like very much lighthouses. This one is so pretty. Yes I remember seeing it before but not sure whether from this angle and so close. The light was very strong and makes the colors well visible from a distance for the sailors.
You are building some tension and anticipation ha ha
I am looking forward to seeing the views from the top!

Red and blue always make a great warm cold colour combination. Well framed and composed placing the red and white lighthouse slightly off centre. Tfs!
