Photographer's Note
Beach of Roussellerie in St Brevin, a small cottage assembled on high pile at which can set a fishing net. With winch the net is immersed under water. These cottages exist since several hundred years in the area, currently there in rete much. The Council of Europe issued the removal of these cottages in the name of the safeguard of the littoral. It is a pity !

Very moody composition, Said, and an interesting - though somewhat sad - note. I really like the shades of red, and the reflection of the sun on the water. I tried to emphasize those wonderful elements in a little workshop; hope you don't mind.

Ne serait-ce point un cabanon avec carrelet pour la pêche, que l'on voit poindre à gauche de la photo ? Toujours de belles couleurs avec des vaguelettes couleur or venant mourir sur la plage un beau soir d'été (je me laisse emporter par l'émotion de la photo). Belle composition (cela devient une habitude, bien agréable).

Des images d'une vingtaine d'année... Certainement dans les plus vieilles du site. Je trouve le sujet très interessant avec ses grandes tantacules... Les couleurs sont chaudes et rendent bien le sentiment d'une douce fin de journée estivale. Bonne photo et série Said.

The tones and the scene as just as great as the previous ones. The cottage silhouette is
a fantastic element for this seaside sunset !
Still, the composition could be largely improved. The main subjects of the picture should be reframed so as to better enhance them. The easier solution is probably to place them in the two upper strong node of the picture by cropping some of the left, right and lower parts...
The workshop already posted is just great !

They cannot be removed!! What a pretty sight!! Taken at the right time of day! And what a perfect composition! i Like the large amount of water int he front.

Cruel dilemne... on s'attarderait bien à admirer les belles couleurs de ce coucher de soleil, mais cette horrible grosse bête n'est pas rassurante.. ;-)
Bien vu Saïd, et bravo pour la qualité de cette image après tant d'années !

Joli coucher de soleil qui donne un sentiment de nostalgie à cette pêcherie et à l'océan.
Je ne sais pas s'ils ont finalement mis en oeuvre la décision de démolir ces éléments de patrimoine à St Brévins.
Je doute.
En effet, à St Nazaire en face, ils les ont non seulement gardés, mais ils les ont toutes rénovées.
