Autumnal view from the top of Pyrenean mountain (Bilexe) about 1700m high...the sun was going down and nicely illuminating the forest..hope you like it!

Belle image d'automne en montagne, ce camaïeu de brun, si lumineux, en tranchant, délimite franchement l'arrière plan bleuté donnant un effet de relief saisissant.

Leonie, che bella immagine!
La luce brillante sul primopiano rende fantastici colori dell'autunno, eccellente l'effetto presenza 3D anche per lo stacco con lo sfondo in penombra e un po' nebbioso.
Quel prato in pendenza sulla destra è bellissimo, vorrei correrci dentro!
Ancora una volta un'altra bellissima immagine con una stupenda luce, complimenti!

A very nice and pleasing image. I like the POV and also that you captured the image as the right time of day. The bright fall colors with a the valley in shadows really high lights the colors.

L'automen est vraiment bien capté, une féerie de couleurs de saison;
Bien cadré pour la pente et la vallée et une bonne partition entre la couleur et la profondeur sombre de la vallée.

Bonjour Leonie.
j'ai vu Baronnies et j'ai pensé au sud de la Drome. mais non, il s'agissait donc de ce massif pyreneen.
une image tres reussie. la lumiere ecrase l'ombre. les deux plans restant tres equilibrés. des couleurs d'automne tres belles mais on sent que l'hiver n'est plus tres loin. triste et belle saison.

Très belle lumière sur ce premier plan multicolor, bonne gestion de l'exposition. COmposition interessante avec cette diagonalle qui coupe vraiment l'image en deux partie bien distinctes.

beautiful shot Leonie, lovely autumn colours. The sharp foreground contrasts nicely with the bluish tones of the background. I'm guessing from your images that you like hiking? I notice that many are from up on the hillsides. I was a hiker myself one time, mainly Wicklow but sometimes Kerry also. Getting up the hillsides really gives a better perspective, and of course a very enjoyable activity!

Impressive picture, the autumn colours in the trees are great. When i see a picture like this one i just call it "a number one picture, no negative critiques".
The contrasts with the mountains in the background give you an excellent DOF and depth.

There are two issues with this image.

First is the cyan color caste, which both enhances the distant feeling for the background but at the same time mutes the reds and oranges of the foliage in the foreground.

Second is that the image, especially the middle ground, is very over-sharpened.
