Photographer's Note

A funfair in the Grand Palais sounded like a fantastic program !

I arrived there and the excitation was strong. It grew up after queuing something like 1 hour in the cold before entering.

And I enter. The SHOCK.

It was so incredible, so beautiful, so colorful, so poetic... I got snowed under with emotions.

Where to go ? Where to look at ? What to shoot ?

I saw the nave. It reminded me a shot I made a few months ago and thought it was even "more" starship than the 1st time. A good start !

Très belle photo Stéphane... les couleurs sont magiques et le panneau "no limit" nous envoie un peu plus vers l'infini de l'espace

En effet, cette fête c'était vraiment "no limit" !!! et on en a tous pris plein les yeux. Ton clin d'oeil avec ce rapprochement d'un vaisseau est bien vu !

Interesting shot with good framing. You have been lucky to get such good shutter speed at ISO 100, this has kept the picture sharp. The circular effect of the lights is a good feature and the overall colour adds to the mood. TFS and have a great new year's eve and new year's day.

It looks like a good event, but 1 hour in the cold!! Anyway it seems it was worth it. A good capture with just enough detail showing. I love the circularity of it; good title.

Stephane à fait une rencontre de troisième type.
L'effet est saisissant, très bien présenté malgré les difficultés de prises de vue à donner le torticolis.

Encore un parisien qui est allé faire un tour à la foire foraine du Grand Palais... vous auriez quand même pu vous y donner rendez vous! ;-)
Ta photo a effectivement un petit air de vaisseau spatial, surtout avec ces petite lumières. Je profite de cette occasion pour te souhaiter une magnifique année 2006!

Une très belle photo d'architecture, tu as bien mis en valeur cette nef avec ces spots qui la couronne. Le côté graphique ressort très bien et j'aime cette inscription "no limit" qui ajout un plus.
J'aurais bien vu cette image avec une rotation à 90°.
