Photographer's Note

It was a rainy day with strong wind and in the late afternoon a big storm arrived from the sea.
The waves were therefore high to come in the Vielle Antibes lanes, over the defensive walls that are higher than 10 meters.
After few minutes of storm, the wind cleaned the sky from the most part of the clouds and we can went out of the home to took some images of that gigantic waves.

Sometimes we were took by the gigantic waves....

Colours are amasing, and the decisive moment is there.
It's good that you weren't swepped by the waves.
I would say this is a typical "Paolo" photo.

At the right time, with the right colors, again even if it's a "hard" weather, it seems so smooth, and this time the "cotton" is in the sky witht those clouds AND in the sea with this wave ;)

This capture shows the spectacular nature exhibit on the colors of the sky and the magnificent way you captured the waves hitting the rocks. this would have been raelly super if you were able to give some details on the structures on the right. Would you mind telling if it is available what shutter speed and lens opening you used?

Real dynamic Poaolo. Is it just me or is this a new addition to your photos which always seem very calm and peaceful? This one is anything but, its actually quite violent! The colors great as usual. Its just a bit dark in the right hand corner.

la puissance de la mere, c'est une jolie image, dommage que cela soit un peu trop nette, mais ca ne change rien aux couleurs et a cette vague qui s'ecrase contre la paroi !

Good evening, Paolo. Looked through your gallery...very good gallery....why i choosed this shot to comment?..dunno, coz it is close to my mood...anyways we always comment through the prism of our mood. It is great and powerful. The sky looks so calm for this stormy waves. Listen to me, i'm takling like my grandma :).......don't mind, bad day.

It's not often that I see a powerful wave set against a beautiful sunset. The surprise is what makes this shot unique and attractive. Indeed it is one scene not to be missed and I must say I enjoyed it very much. The rainbow range of colours are also very appealing. Congratulations!! Best regards.

L'instant de déclenchement est pilepoil le bon.
Dommage pour la prtie inférieure droite un peu trop sombre à mon gout.
