Photographer's Note
Paris landscape from Notre Dame. This part of the building is known as "chimeras gallery", so called after the statues adorning the corners of the balustrade, and it stands 46 meters above the ground.
About the title, Quasimodo was the bellringer in Victor Hugo famous novel, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, published in 1831.This author described this towers as "Beutifully balanced parts of a magnificent whole".
Hope you like it

I like this pano, especially the gorgolye chimera holding his chin , looking down on Paris.
The light is not harsh and details are good for such a big spread
My one complaint - I really want to see a much larger image
Good shot!

A good panoramic view with a nice depth created by the foreground. The gargoyle looks very thoughtful and that supports the picture too.

Very nicely framed, Marco. The panoramic view is good, and including the gargoyle was a good idea. A beautiful view of Paris, thank you.

I like this image because the gargoyle makes it stand out from a "normal" panorama. Even not considering the gargoyle, it is a neat and sharp view, with nicely balanced horizon line and rich colors. The statue adds a nice tension that makes the viewer follow its look.
Good work!

Fantástica amigo !
Que bela composição você conseguiu aqui. Avho apenas que a foto merece um tratamento para realçar mais as cores, mesmo assim está ótima.
Parabéns !

A beautiful view of Paris, Macro. Very well framed. I especially like the 'bored' looking gargoyle on the right. Well seen.

This is good Mark. You were pretty thoughtful to include the chin holding gargoyle to bring the viewer into the landscape. Well done Mark.A good example to show framing technique.

Wow - another awesome shot. Great composition... The gargoyle looks like he's admiring the view of Paris! Well done.
Didn't go up the towers as I'm scared of heights. Thanks for sharing!

Magnifique...

Tem andado desaparecido, Marco..
This one I find one of your best. Reasons: composition of course, and not so visible pp as in all the other (too much clarifying imo :)
Nice to see you around.

I have resisted commenting b/c so many have already done so on this picture, but I can resist no longer.
I just love this picture. I have it saved on as one of my favorites. The Gargole's expression and position are just amazing. This gallery is so often photographed that I was sure there was no way to say anything original with a picture, but you seem to really have captured Quasimodo's view here.
That is one of my favoirte stories and this shot is exactly how I think Quasi feels.
thanks
