One of my first picture with my new 400D !

This is the Total tower at La Défense.
Easter Sunday.
Cloudless.

I use a filter to have a deeper blue sky.

the clouless idea is great too, but makes the architectural shot very monotone I think...it needs clouds as a background... u see, at the botoom-left the color of the sky & the tower mix together almost..a vrey nice tower it is, the reflection of the front tower which we don't see is nice too.
As an architectural shot I expected to read more abt this tower in yr note... (the height, the architect, etc)
& tell u that the at first tought u meant by "total tower" to say "complete tower" until I read yr note!

I completely disagree with the clouds effect.. Too many skyscrappers show the clouds and I believe that this tower is pretty by itself, which is shown very well in this picture.

I have the feeling that the base is missing on this picutre.. should not the building look more massive?

Fantastic combination of blue.. I agree it might look monocolored but it's not my opinion. Far from lacking contrast, it show a great use of the blue color.
