Photographer's Note

The reflection was perfect. The brown building looked like entire.

But the reflection was not... a reflection !!

If it was, where has the window washing cabin gone ? And I'm sure it was impossible to see through the silver building.

And I just can regret I didn't see that, the day I shot the place, cause I now wish I could understand the visual effect.

c vrai que ton image merite que l'on s'y attarde...
tu as cadré parfaitement, pour avoir le bout gauche du doré dans l'imeuble, de manière a faire une continuité..

I'm a big fan of reflections, so I like this one! The shimmering surface of the glass on the buildings gives this an unusual look, and the combination of reflections, and reflections of reflections makes you wonder what is real and what is reflection. Beautiful!

Hello,
Encore une très jolie photo urbaine. Sobre, presque minimaliste mais très éloquente. bravo donc.
Ton titre me plait particulièrement car il est aussi, pour moi, un clin d'oeil à The Mirage, le casino de Las Vegas.
L'architecture de Las Vegas, lors de la construction du Mirage, ressemble sensiblement à ces immeubles...
Je retourne fin avril sur le "lieu du crime". je crois reconnaitre l'immeuble argent, j'irai voir ça de plus près...

J ai quand meme fini par comprendre, mais je ne suis pas sur car c est assez frappant visuellement... alors, l immeuble de gauche est derriere celui argenté? Tres bien vu en tous cas!

Effectivement, un effet d'optique vraiment intéressant, on a l'impression d'une fusion entre les deux façades. Y a-t-il un scientifique dans la salle ???

Hi Stéphane, this is very nice play with reflections and the mind has indeed to work here to interpret it. And the milky rendition of the distorted reflection is fascinating.

Image mystérieuse, il semble qu'un immeuble avale l'autre.

Avec ce titre je m'attendais a un mirage lybien! L'effet est en effet tres spectaculaire.

I see what you mean! I can't work it out either. There seems to be reflections of reflections which would change the orientation. Let's not analyse it and enjoy it. Good work

Effet d'optique ou pas, la lumière est belle sur ces immeubles, encore un cadrage original, mais l'urbanité n'est pas ma tasse de thé... Je préfère la campagne!

Stephane, ta photo donne le tournis et des cerveaux lents comme le mien mettent du temps à comprendre et encore je ne suis pas sûr d'avoir tout compris. Quoiqu'il en soit j'apprécie ce jeu de lignes et de couleurs comme dans un tableau d'une grande beauté.

This is an intriguing shot, the more you look at it, the more you see that the two buildings are mirrors of each other, and i agree with you that it is a perfect fit with the mirror of the brown building.

Un jeu de réflections plein de subtilité. C'est fort bien réussi cette photo, j'aime beaucoup. De plus les lumières sont très agréables et ce ciel bleu donne un bon contraste. Une image bien carré bravo Stéphane.

absolument -étonnant, les reflets s'imbruiquent les uns dans les autres et l'effet est vraiment surprenant.

c'est une photo sur laquelle il faut revenir plusiuers fois avant de comprendre , ou d'essayer de comprendre.
