The coast of Etretat is mazing with his white cliffs and amazing rock formations. This is one of the 3 famous arches. The sunset give a beautiful zilver shining at the seawater. I found it lovely. I also like the way you see so well the geological layers at the rocks.

Hi, Kik,

This photo appeals to me a lot.

I love the backlit sea surface, with the shimmering reflected brightness.

The shape of the rocks is lovely, and you've placed them well in your frame.

With the strong backlighting, you have lost some opportunity to present details in the rocks, but the sedimentary strata are well resolved.

I like the narrow chromatic range of silver, black, and violets.

There does seem to be a bit of a color halo along the edges of the rock; I'm not savvy enough to know the technical cause. It's only a minor distraction.
